Saturday Breakfast at the Hayhurst Arms, Bostock, Cheshire

After a busy morning running errands, stopping off at Hayhurst Arms felt like exactly the reset I needed.

The pub has a really cosy, welcoming feel. Comfortable seating, warm décor, and that relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your food. The full English breakfast hit the spot perfectly: generous portions, everything cooked just right, and proper comforting pub food done well. Crispy bacon, well-cooked sausages, and eggs exactly as they should be – no complaints at all.

We also treated ourselves to a cheeky Mimosa (because why not?), which was fresh, well balanced, and added a little sense of occasion to the morning. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming too, attentive without being overbearing, and happy to have a chat.

All in all, a great spot to refuel after a busy start to the day. Cosy, relaxed, and reliably good food, we’ll definitely be back.
