Sometimes all you want from a coffee shop is great coffee, a relaxed atmosphere and somewhere your dog is just as welcome as you are. That's exactly what we found at Beans, Winterley Coffee House, just outside Sandbach in Cheshire.
Small in size but big on charm, Beans has a really cosy feel to it. the perfect place for catching up with friends, stopping in after a walk or simply taking a break with a good coffee and a pastry. The whole place feels friendly and laid-back, and the fact that it's dog friendly only adds to the appeal.

Of course, the coffee is the main event, and it definitely doesn't disappoint. Smooth, well-made and clearly prepared with care!
But the highlight of our visit had to be the blueberry matcha. Matcha seems to be having a moment right now, but this was one of the more interesting combinations we've tried. The sweetness and fruitiness of the blueberry worked brilliantly with the earthy notes of the matcha, creating something that felt refreshing, balanced and perfect for a slower morning.

What we really liked about Beans was how unpretentious it felt. There are no gimmicks here, just good coffee, friendly
service and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. It’s easy to see why it’s become such a popular spot with locals.
Overall, if you're looking for a coffee stop near Sandbach, whether you've got the dog with you or you're just in need of a really good flat white, Beans Winterley Coffee House is well worth adding to your list. And if you're feeling adventurous, do yourself a favour and try the blueberry matcha, you might end up ordering it again next time.
